Pheasant Hunting

This last weekend I spent the holidays with my in-laws in South Dakota. They were nice enough to buy me an out-of-state hunting license for the occasion. I went out twice with my father-in-law Rollie and brother-in-law Todd. We all ended up getting birds over the weekend. Since it was a little later in the season we had a bit of a hard time finding them. I think we walked a total of five or so miles in a couple of days. These were not easy miles either. Most of them were in ditches and plowed fields. It was all worth it though after getting that bird. What a feeling of achievement! The rest of the weekend was good too. Lots of food and a 2-2 record with Todd on Madden 06. I guess we'll have to play the tie breaker some other time. Happy Thanksgiving!
